I think a lot people, myself included, got caught up in beach House’s dreamy universe two years ago when they released the album “Teen Dream”. “Bloom” seems to extent this dream and from what I’ve heard so far seems to live up to the expectation.
A couple of days ago we spend a whole day with the Copenhagen based DJ JV(John Vincent) shooting an episode of “We support our locals”. We did a lot of cool stuff! Video comming soon…
So a post about a new serie revolving around three twenty-something girls trying to figure out their lives in New York City!? I almost sounds as I’m about to reveal a new guilty pleasure, the serie to fill out the gap “Sex and The City” and “Gossip Girl” have created. This is actually not the case and in my opinion this serie posses qualities that have the potential to transcend the “for girls only” plot.
First of all, it’s HBO who is behind “girls” and they have premiered some excellent series throughout the years (Six Feet under, True Blood, Entourage, Game Of Thrones etc. etc.). Moreover series created by HBO tend to be very eksplicit in their seksual content and focus on violence so expect not virgin-like presentation of the girls life in New York. The first couple of episodes has already aired in the states and the reviews has been very favorable (87 score at metacritics.com) and a lot of the reviews has emphasized on the raw nature of the serie.
I’m planing to watch the first episode tonight and suggest you do the same.

One of the main themes we draw inspirations from in the making of our SS12 collection was the American suburbs in the 1980′. The cult movie “Donnie Darko” really seemed to capture the feeling we wanted our collection to express. Therefore we felt the urge to somehow implement Donnie Darko in the collection
which resulted in a small t-shirt line. The prints our created by Victor Henderson and features both the iconic Frank and references to Tears for Fears.
Besides the surburbian feel of Donnie Darko there’s also a more dark and melancholic side of the movie.

So, friday i was at the Drake show at Forum(venue in Copenhagen). Show was off the hook! He is such an amazing performer.
