Finally the sun seems to have turned its head towards copenhagen so no excuses for staying indoors. Regardless if you hanging in the park or melting at the beach a good book is for me really a no-brainer especially cuz I suck at reading on a everyday basis.
My first choice of book this summer is “A Visit by The Goon Squad” by Jennifer Egan which, not unlike, Jonathan Franzen’s “Freedom” is a journey in time through modern US where Rockmusic from the seventies till today sort of functions as the anchor point for several characters entwining lives.
Until now my first experience with Egan is really really good and this particular novel also gave her the Pulitzer Price last year.
